Mr. Nardell has a broad civil litigation and business practice. He has extensive experience in commercial and business disputes, real estate matters, defending and prosecuting claims involving unfair business practices, and class action cases. He has successfully represented his clients at all stages of the litigation process and appeal, in both state and federal courts.
Before joining with NCA, Mr. Nardell practiced with Cooley Godward LLP, Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass LLP and the Marin County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Nardell’s accomplishments have led to his recognition as a Super Lawyer for Northern California.
Mr. Nardell is a member of the Bar for the State of California, the California Federal Courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Nardell serves as a board member for the Marin Child Care Council and as outside legal counsel for the Marin Conservation League. He has served an Adjunct Professor of Law at Golden Gate University and as the co-editor of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers Report for Northern California. Mr. Nardell has received an Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award from the San Francisco Bar Association for his pro bono work.
Mr. Nardell graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1989 with highest honors in Social Sciences. He graduated from the Boalt Hall School of Law in 1996, where he served as President of the International Law Society and Production Editor for the California Law Review.
Mr. Nardell was born and raised in Marin. He lives in Fairfax, where his wife owns and operates First Friends Montessori Preschool. He and his wife have one young daughter. They enjoy hiking, camping, and boating.
