General Business and Professional Background

Houman ChitsazMr. Chitsaz is a litigator with a broad range of experience prosecuting and defending cases in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings. Mr. Chitsaz has served as lead counsel representing individuals, governmental entities, home owners associations and companies ranging from publicly traded corporations to sole proprietorships. Mr. Chitsaz specializes in real estate, business disputes, construction, employment, and personal injury litigation.

Professional Activities

Mr. Chitsaz serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Marin County Bar Association. Mr. Chitsaz is currently a member of the Marin Bar Association’s Green Committee, Program Committee and Continuing Legal Education Committee, and has served as past President of the Marin County Bar Association’s Barristers.

Education

Mr. Chitsaz obtained his law degree from University of Santa Clara School of Law in 2001. Prior to his legal education, Mr. Chitsaz obtained his B.A. from the University of California at Davis and studied at the London School of Economics. Mr. Chitsaz has also served as a Judicial Extern with the Honorable Martin Jenkins, District Judge for the United States Federal District Court, Northern District of California.

Interests

Mr. Chitsaz has been a Marin County resident for thirty years. Mr. Chitsaz is an avid tennis player and enjoys various outdoor activities.
